The goal of Soc Roc is to encourage kids to be physically active, gain confidence and learn social skills while having fun. As a certified personal trainer for eight years and a former professional soccer player, James Christie has combined his two areas of expertise to create a unique and creative fitness program. Soc Roc sessionslast 45 minutes to one hour. Not only will the students learn soccer from a former pro, but they will also develop core strength, upper and lower body strength, as well as flexibility, endurance and excellent posture. Soc Roc classes are held in various locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
