U1 Sports Travel Baseball @ Upper West Side

By: U1Sports

With emphasis on skill development and building team camaraderie, U1Sports and its coaches are excited for the start of the 2019 Fall Baseball season.

U1 Sports Travel Baseball Team(s) will compete in the New York Travel Baseball League. This league consists of other programs located in all 5 boroughs and that have a good standing reputation around the city.

The first game is scheduled to begin the weekend of September 7th. The regular season lasts until early November. Playoffs and Championship are played after the end of the regular season with the entire season wrapping up the weekend prior to Thanksgiving.

Preseason Practice:

During August, U1 will hold a one week session of preseason training, Monday through Friday (August 26-August 29).  Attendance is REQUIRED as we will need as much time with our players to prep for the season. Training camp runs from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and will take place either at Upper West Side location. Location and times are subject to change based on field availability.

Regular Season practices start the week of August 26th through the end of the season. Practices are held in Manhattan throughout the week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays. Baseball is a team sport and all players depend upon one another. All practices are MANDATORY. We cannot guarantee your child will play if they have not attended practice throughout the week.  Practice is from 5:30pm – 7:00pm (Practices times are subject to change).

All games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays. Our home games will be played at Fieldston or Upper West Side location. Away games will be played within the 5 boroughs. The schedule will be posted on our website once it becomes available.

August 21st, 2019 @ 4:00pm (Booker T Washington Field- West 108th Street, New York, NY)
