Recreation League
Begins September 12th. Runs 10 weeks.
Level: Beginner/Intermediate
The Recreation League offers an opportunity for young players to build friendships, develop community and build a passion for the game through friendly competition. The program is managed by our professional soccer staff with years of experience in youth development, however all teams are coached by parent volunteers. We offer guidance to volunteer coaches to support a positive learning environment. 
In response to COVID-19, we will now be offering additional weekly virtual training as a compliment to the Recreation League on the weekend! We have also outlined our Return to Play protocols to help ensure participant safety, please see the link below.
Classes + Clinics
Begins September 14th. Runs 10 weeks.
Level: Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
General classes focus on fundamental skills and fun, while building a foundation of technical proficiency for future growth in the game. Topics include: dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting and creativity.
  • Dynamic warm up
  • Juggling/ball mastery
  • Topic of the week
Advanced classes focus on individual player development, with more depth in certain aspects of the game.
  • Goalkeeping Focus on the technical aspects of today’s modern goalkeeper. Topics include: handling, positioning, reactions, footwork, hand-eye coordination, confidence.
  • Footworx – Players will learn how to be comfortable on the ball, create more time + options. Topics include: footwork, creativity, body positioning, first touch, vision, pass selection v. , positional awareness, 1v1.
  • Strikers – This is all about scoring goals! Players will learn shooting techniques, 1st touch, volleys, movement, body position, support play and more.
All classes are taught by our professional coaching staff teaching the “DUSC Way.” Players may be split into groups based on ability.

NEW Classes: Squads
Begins September 14th. Any Age.
Level: Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Create your own Class this Fall with our NEW option, DUSC Squads!
As NYC schools re-open part-time using a hybrid model with some in-class instruction and some online, DUSC is responding to our communities request to provide players with continued development for both for their physical and mental well being. We also know many of our DUSC families will still need additional supervised enrichment activities for their children this fall.
DUSC Squads offers your child the chance to play, learn and develop with a consistent group of neighbors, classmates, friends, or teammates throughout the week (day of your choice). Families will work together to create their own small, self-contained Squads with the power to collectively decided the training focus for the season, tailoring everything to the needs, skill levels, and interests of the players.
DUSC remains committed to our Soccer For All values – financial aid will be available for those in need.
Pricing and Program Details
  • Each class is 55 minutes (multiple classes can be booked together simultaneously)
  • Minimum Squad Number: 4 Players
  • Minimum of 5 Classes per Squad Booking
  • 4 Player Squads: $55 Class per Player
  • 5-8 Player Squads: $45 Class per Player

What fields will we use?
DUSC will work to accommodate class groups at requested locations. DUSC has permits at Pier 40 and expects to have more space available at most of our downtown locations.
What size are the DUSC Squads?
Four to eight players (girls, boys or coed).
